What is Complete Hydration Drink?

Complete Hydration Drink™ is a high performance drink that can be mixed to make an isotonic solution (or hypo and hypertonic if you desire).

If you are a regular user of drinks such as Lucozade®, Powerade® or Gatorade® during your workouts, but are on the lookout for something to enhance your performance even further (and save money at the same time!) then Complete Hydration Drink™ is for you.

Complete Hydration Drink contains an advanced tri-carbohydrate blend consisting of Maltodextrin, Dextrose and Fructose to take advantage of different carbohydrate absorption pathways. Instant BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids) has also been included in the formula, alongside a blend of 4 Electrolytes and Vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy metabolism.

What is in Complete Hydration Drink™?

Carbohydrate Blend (47% Maltodextrin, 47% Dextrose and 6% Fructose)

The multiple sources of carbohydrate can result in superior carbohydrate uptake. Recent research shows that adding Fructose to Dextrose results in higher carbohydrate oxidation rates than glucose alone. Intestinal glucose absorption can be limited by the sodium dependent glucose transported (SGLT-1), whereas fructose is absorbed via a different pathway (GLUT 5 transporters).

Instant BCAA

Recent research has shown many benefits of supplementing with Branched Chain Amino Acids, particularly around training. BCAA have also been shown to reduce muscle damage and DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) after exercise.  

The Branched Chain Amino Acids in Complete Hydration Drink™ have also been instantised for ease of mixing.

Electrolytes (Sodium, Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium)

Carbohydrate electrolyte drinks aid the enhanced absorption of water during physical exercise. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and Magnesium contributes to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue, energy yielding metabolism and electrolyte balance.

Vitamin B6

Research shows that Vitamin B6 helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue, convert food to energy and is also essential for hameoglobin production.
